1976

A remarkable career in the nuclear power industry with General Electric took Lamont Youngborg MBA ’76 to power plants across the globe, from Washington state to Italy and Japan. Monty was an inventor, creating a system for modulating feedwater used in GE power plants, along with several other patents that left a lasting mark on the industry. Monty found great joy in the company of his four biological grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren, who brightened his life in ways words could hardly express. Monty died on Dec. 11, 2024.
