Loyal Lamont “Monty” Youngborg MBA ’76 worked for General Electric in the Nuclear Power Industry for his entire career. His work took him to Italy, Japan, and various nuclear plants around the world. Over the years, he invented a system for modulating feedwater used in GE power plants, alongside several other patents. When his family moved to Sonora, Calif., Monty found a new purpose, pouring his heart into the Tuolumne County Historical Society, Tuolumne Newcomer’s, and more local organizations. He died on Dec. 11, 2024.
