MainStreet Property Group LLC, a real estate development firm, is proud to congratulate Kim Faust ’01, Senior Vice President of Development, on receiving the 40 under 40 recognition from the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 2016 lineup of young business leaders.

Faust has served as an integral member of MainStreet since its inception, tracing her contributions back to the firm’s humble beginnings of two employees working out of a conference room with a rented table and chairs. Faust remembers fulfilling many roles from the very basics to creating templates and standards while formulating future company strategy.

As Senior Vice President of Development, Faust helps manage the firm’s development and construction activities across the Puget Sound region. As a leader of a pipeline of more than $300 million in development and construction, Faust coordinates mixed-use, multifamily, commercial and retail projects for the company.

“I work with energy and passion every day, putting all of my hard work and determination into seeking ways to improve the company and delight our customers while having fun,” said Faust. “I care about the success of the company and feel responsible for every aspect of our projects, upholding the brand and quality that will continue to earn us a solid long term reputation.”

A native of Seattle’s Eastside, Faust attended Eastlake High School in Sammamish and earned a scholarship to Santa Clara University in 1997. There she played Division I College Basketball for four years while earning her Bachelor’s in Marketing from the Leavey School of Business in 2001. Throughout her career, Faust has participated in more than $500 million in construction across all types of real estate development.

“Congratulations to Kim on this well deserved honor from the PSBJ.” said Kelly Price, President. “She has a remarkable passion for our business and works hard to make each project better. Her positive energy and determination have helped shape MainStreet into who we are today.”

When she’s not coordinating multi-million dollar construction projects across greater Seattle, Faust coaches youth softball, basketball and soccer in Kirkland, Wash. She lives in Seattle’s Kirkland neighborhood with her husband Mark and their two daughters Emily and Mia.
