Kerry Krebsbach (Robbins) ’74 passed away August 8, 2010 at home in Greenwich, after a courageous struggle with pancreatic cancer. Her amazing strength and grace throughout the ordeal was truly inspirational. Born September 23, 1952, to Raymond and Lucille Krebsbach in Richmond, Calif., Kerry grew up in San Rafael, Calif., attended Marin Catholic High School and Santa Clara University. She lived many years in San Francisco, later moved to Connecticut, and worked for many years in the trust department at Wachovia Bank. Kerry had a joie de vivre that was contagious – she just loved to have a good time. Her first question to guests or family about a trip or special day was always, "Did you have fun?" Whether it was shopping (she loved traveling into Manhattan with her sisters to find just the right item at just the right price); going out to dinner with friends or family (Kerry always wanted to know what everyone was having and whether it was good or not); or gardening (an activity that required moving this plant here, that plant there, then moving all plants back to their original positions), Kerry was all about having fun. She will be sorely missed! She is survived by her husband Mercer Robbins; twin sister Mary Lou; sisters Jacquelyn, Lolita, Clare; brother Tom; many in-laws; and nephews and nieces, including Kaitlin and Ali for whom Kerry was their dear, ""crazy"" aunt.
