Kerrie Romanow MBA ’02 was named as San Jose’s director of the environmental services department, which she has led for the past year as it oversees services for wastewater, drinking water, trash and recycling collection.

Romanow began her career in San Jose in 2006 as assistant director of environmental services, the second-highest position in the department. Before that she worked for Sunnyvale-based consulting firm Environmental and Occupational Risk Management Inc., Filtronic Solid State in Santa Clara and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
