Kenneth Giebel ’69, MBA ’76 has been appointed director of homeownership at California Housing Finance Agency by Gov. Jerry Brown ’59. California Housing Finance Agency provides home mortgage financing to first-time homebuyers and renters in California. It also provides mortgage insurance; permanent financing for the acquisition, rehabilitation, and preservation of existing or new construction of rental housing; and multifamily rental development properties management services. Giebel, 68, of Lincoln, has served as acting director of single family lending for the agency since 2012 and was director of marketing from 2002 to 2012. He was director of promotions and ethnic advertising at the California State Lottery from 1994 to 2002. Prior to the Lottery position, Ken worked in marketing, advertising, and promotion positions for a number of Fortune 500 Companies.
