Kenji Ohkawa ’07, a project manager at Hallmark Construction, one of Northern California’s leading general contractors, is quickly earning a reputation for his enthusiasm, tenacity, and most notably, his results. Recently, Ohkawa completed a slew of projects for the Silicon Valley’s leading venture capital firms. These extensive renovations included complex, opulent finishes that were completed under fast-track schedules while each client’s business carried on as usual. While the ability to think on his feet is an asset, Ohkawa likes to give credit to his rigorous planning and constant communication with clients and field personnel as well. Ohkawa is quickly becoming an authority on sustainable building. As a LEED Accredited Professional he has driven LEED certification, which indicates a building has achieved a high level of environmental performance with a minimal carbon footprint.
