Kelsey Dedoshka ’14, a software engineer at Hewlett-Packard, participated on the Career Aspirations Panel of the Aspirations in Computing program, a talent development pipeline initiative of the National Center for Women & IT designed to increase women’s meaningful participation in computing careers by providing encouragement, visibility, community, leadership opportunities, scholarships, and internships to high potential technically inclined young women. Aspirations in Computing is the only national-level talent development program for young women in computing and information technology.

The NCWIT Aspirations in Computing program engages young women interested in technology and computing. By generating visibility for these young women in their local communities, the program encourages their continued interest in computing, attracts the attention and support of educational and corporate institutions, and emphasizes at a personal level the importance of women’s participation in computing and IT.
