Keith Wattley J.D. ’99 has been awarded Santa Clara Law’s Alumni Special Achievement Award. As an attorney in Oakland, he has been advocating for the rights of people in prison and parolees for nearly 20 years. Prior to launching UnCommon Law in 2006—a nonprofit specializing in helping prisoners with a potential life sentence win parole—Keith was a staff attorney at the Prison Law Office, a nonprofit law firm in Berkeley.
