Beloved mother, sister, and dear friend Kathleen Anne Doherty ’65 died on Jan. 1, 2021. Kathleen held boundless, contagious positive energy and no matter the trouble, found a silver lining in everything. After graduating as part of the first class of women at SCU, she pursued further education at USC, where she received the award as best student teacher and met the love of her life. She lived a life full of family, good friends, cheerful optimism, dogged determination, and wonderful summers on Balboa Island. Kathleen never forgot a birthday or holiday, and always sent envelopes covered with little stickies.
