Katharine Antolch Gould ’75, October 22, 1930, to September 3, 2011. A resident of Milpitas, Kathy passed away peacefully and quietly while taking an afternoon nap. There was no medical condition that could have forecast this.

Born in Hollywood California to Croatian father John Antolch and Russian mother Klavdia Kolesnikova, who met and married in China then emigrated to Canada and then to California. Kathy spent most of her young life in Hollywood taking classes in the arts, enjoying tennis, and snow skiing.

While employed by Lockheed she moved to the Bay Area, where she became proficient in many artistic endeavors including oil painting, graphic arts and flower arranging. She loved to travel, having visited Japan, China, India, Europe, and the Soviet Union where she served as a guide for a graphic arts exhibit. This suited her well since she spoke fluent Russian. Also six months in Italy with husband Roger while he was on assignment with Lockheed.

She continued water and snow skiing into her mid-seventies. She made friends easily, was very popular, and always ready to help any way she could. She loved going to lunch with friends. A great hostess to many home dinners, pool parties and special events on the holidays. Kathy was loved by all her many friends and family for her loving and forgiving nature and always cheerful and helpful to all, even strangers.

She is survived by her husband Roger, brother Paul Antolch, and cousins in Canada and Croatia. Kathy was an avid supporter of Bronco Bench and went to basketball and volley ball games and fund raisers.
