Kate (Thomas) Parnes ’68 spends part of her retirement time as vice president and founding member of Global Grandmothers. The nonprofit started in California in 2011 and focuses on supporting children worldwide through thoughtful giving. Global Grandmothers carefully screens domestic and international nonprofits for transparency, fund management, and the efficacy of interventions.
