Kate Carroll ’14 excelled academically and athletically. In high school, Kate won the first state championship title for singles tennis for Regis Jesuit High School’s girls’ team in Denver. She also played competitive tennis outside of  school, traveling around Colorado and other mountain states for tournament play. She was also a highly skilled and valued member of the hospital community, working as a nurse and a charge nurse for six years on medical/surgical and ICU floors, including the two years during the pandemic. Outside of work, Kate enjoyed playing with her beloved mini Aussie shepherd, Murphy, hiking, drinking wine with friends and skiing on warm days. She died July 30, 2023.
