The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) announced that Kate Carey ’84 will be joining the organization as vice president, federal government relations. Carey joins PCI following a three year sabbatical from professional life.

Carey has worked in the insurance industry for more than 25 years as a strategic government relations and public policy attorney. Most recently, she served as vice president and head of federal government relations for MetLife.

Carey holds a B.A. degree from the University of Santa Clara. She completed her J.D. from Catholic University and an L.L.M. from Georgetown. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
