Karen (Sly) Flynn ’80 retired after 31 years with the Sacramento County Public Defender’s Office, serving as its chief assistant for the past 14 years. She and her husband, Dan, are proud of their sons, John Flynn ’16, a freelance writer, and Jimmy Flynn ’18, editor in chief of The Santa Clara.
