2023

During the pandemic, Kaitlyn Fontaine J.D. ’23 collected and distributed about 3,500 books to K-8 students in over a month, as part of her mission to put books in the hands of Hollister’s youth to help bridge the gap created by distance learning and issues of limited access resulting from COVID-19. Kaitlyn, who started law school at Santa Clara University last the fall, wishes to instill in children a love for reading. She has handed out books at Sunnyslope Elementary School and Panoche Elementary School, and has delivered books for distribution through the Migrant Education Program.
