Although Joseph Kelly ’62 first worked in teaching, he built a 28-year career in California state government. Over the years, Joseph became deputy din irector positions in the CA State Department of Social Services and the CA State Department of Health Care Services. After retirement, he dedicated himself to Elica Health Center, a non-profit that provides affordable health care. Joseph died Dec. 9, 2022, and is survived by his family.
