For Joseph Finnerty MBA ’66, life was full of surprises just waiting to be savored. He served in the Army Air Force during the tail end of WWII. He married Angie, moved to Arizona, and raised six children. In retirement, Joseph volunteered to record for the blind and dyslexic. He also enrolled in a “Reminiscence Writing” course, in which he honed his writing skills to document humorous vignettes about his life. Joseph went on to participate in several writing groups, and was a crowd favorite at the Arizona Storytellers series hosted by the Arizona Republic. He died Sept. 1, 2023.
