Joe ’71, and wife, Sandy (Hull) Dowling ’71 currently reside in Central Point, OR and own a B&B Resort & Cooking School called The Willows, www.thewillowsbedandbreakfast.com. They write: "The resort is located in the heart of the Southern Oregon Wine Region, where they enjoy hosting weddings and outdoor activites like fishing, crabbing, hiking and whitewater rafting. The couple moved back to the West Coast to open the inn in 2002, when Joe retired from USAirways, after 33 years. Joe helped to run airline operations in San Francisco, San Jose, Monterey, Orange County, Maine, and at finally at LaGuardia in NYC during 9/11. Sandy left her position as Sr. VP at the Council on Economic Education in NYC, where she raised over $10 Million per year to promote Economic Education globally, to help run the inn. Joe received his MBA from the University of Maine in 1990. They have 3 children and 3 grandaughters living in both Oregon and Maine."
