A decorated veteran, Joseph Di Leonardo ’65, J.D. ’68 fought for what he believed in. For his service he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Commendation medal, and two Gallantry Crosses. Joseph practiced law upon return from his service in the Army. He authored two books, Vietnam War and Red Wave Task Force 2020. Following his retirement, he and his wife, Sharon moved to Angel Fire, New Mexico, where Joseph worked various jobs and enjoyed helping with the Veterans Parade. Joseph died on Nov. 7, 2021.  His love of horses, the Republican Party, veterans organizations and his family will be remembered.
