Ninety years to the fullest, that’s how family describes the life of John Spencer Morse MBA ’68. After graduating from Stanford, he served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He had civilian careers in building and finance, earning his MBA while he was the head of investor relations at Memorex. Later, he was CFO at various startups. Retirement allowed him to focus on his passion for flight—everything from hang guilders to Cessnas. John enjoyed 54 years with his wife, Nettie, hiking fishing, and traveling, and raising the couple’s daughters. He died on March 7, 2020.
