John Rinset ’66 was enrolled in the ROTC program and commissioned a second lieutenant. He married Linda in 1968 in Vietnam. Upon returning home, he attended both the University of Iowa and Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where he received his master’s degree in health care administration, in which he held a 35-year career. He died on Oct. 6, 2019. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Linda, and their daughter Erin. John was always proud of his Santa Clara education.
