After earning a degree in mathematics from the University of the Pacific, John Rienhart M.A. ’71 moved to San Jose and embarked on a long career in education. A devout Notre Dame football fan, John found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, especially his wife, sons, and five grandchildren. John died on Nov. 19, 2024.
