A proud member of the SCU men’s basketball team and the legendary “Rodents” class spirit group, John Lindenthal ’66, MBA ’69 maintained lifelong friendships from his college years. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later married Mary Louise in 1978, and they raised two children. A successful finance professional, John became a managing director at Oppenheimer Capital, but never lost his passion for the stock market, staying involved even in retirement. He loved tennis, golf, and fitness, and was deeply involved in philanthropy and education, serving on the boards of several schools and committees. John died on Nov. 9, 2024.
