WWII interrupted John “Jack” Bennett ’49 studies at SCU. He left the University to serve in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific. After Jack was discharged as a sergeant, he returned to campus and married Nelda the same year he graduated. The couple had three children. In his professional life, Jack worked for State Farm. In retirement, he and Nelda traveled the world and celebrated friends in Sonoma County. Jack died on May 27, 2021.
