John “Jack” Joseph Strube ’69 was born in New Jersey to John and Margaret Strube on April 2, 1947. He went to high school at Saint Peter’s Prep and graduated in 1965. He went on to earn a B.A. from SCU. He worked as a real estate broker for over 25 years and as a UPS supervisor for 17 years. Always known for being social, singing silly songs, and occasionally telling a joke, he enjoyed fishing, pretending to be a professional car mechanic, cooking (especially green chili), and spending time with his family. He was well known in the real estate community and won several real estate awards, in addition to teaching CPR and volunteering for Meals on Wheels. Jack passed away on April 29, 2018, at the age of 71 in his Denver home surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, his children, Jack, Sarah, and Laura, and his grandchildren Raven, Autumn, Finn, and Dakota.
