Respected athlete, teacher, and friend John Gregory ’68 died on October 20, 2021. His golden years of youth were spent in the minute cerebral business of gems and the robust physical world of rural life. This life instilled values of productivity and hard work within him. Though he loved teaching, his dream to help the rural community of the Central Valley became a drive as he left the schools for a position at Hanfords PCA/Farm Credit West. He was always attentive, traveling through the fields of corn and cotton in an effort to visit his clients in their homes. John also held a close and loving relationship with his wife Diane and their children. Even when afflicted with Parkinson’s, he remained a social, ebullient man, always quick with a quip and generous with an ear.
