John G. Houston MBA ’76 died on October 31, 2014, after a 13-year battle with prostate cancer. John was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on December 7, 1937. He graduated from University of North Carolina in 1963. He completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Santa Clara University in 1976. He was very proud of his military service in The United States Navy, where he served on active duty during the Viet Nam War. He continued as a Reservist until 1989 with 26 years of service, and retired as a Commander. He worked as a Real Estate Broker. John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bev, a son, Parker, 35, and his wife Anni, of El Dorado Hills, and a son, Taylor, 34, of Lake Charles, Louisiana. John loved music and he loved to sing!
