John Dunlap Cox ’55 on Nov. 24, 2008. A native of Modesto, he farmed the Cox Ranch until he established a commercial crop-dusting business, Valley Crop Dusters, in which he remained active until the time of his death. He was a volunteer for the Westley Fire Department, a member of the Swamp Rats, Lost & Found Gun Club, Modesto Properties Gun Club, and a life member of Ducks Unlimited and the Henrys Lake Foundation. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Harriet; three children; and eight grandchildren.
