John Darryl Lieux MBA ’74 was born on Nov. 15, 1938, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was a proud graduate of Catholic High School and LSU. He received his MBA from Santa Clara University, and he spent most of his working years in California as an electronic engineer. Darryl loved LSU sports, sailing, traveling, playing bridge, and spending time with family. He passed away peacefully on May 24, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Hazel Lieux, brother Roger L. Lieux Jr., and son Greg Lieux. Darryl also leaves behind to cherish his memory and love Sherry Novas. He is survived by Ginger Otto, brother Terry J. Lieux, and sisters Brenda Lieux McQueen, Deanna Lieux Ducote, and Sharon Lieux Hoffman, along with many other family members.
