After graduating from SCU, John “Jay” Cattermole ’79 went to work for Chevron before moving to Constellation New Energy, where he worked his way up to western region vice president. Jay’s work brought him great joy, success, and, most importantly, lifelong friendships. In May 1995, Jay married Maureen Nunes in Modesto. They raised daughters Emily and Abby Cattermole ’20 in Alamo, CA. Jay died Nov. 3, 2022, after a three-year battle with ALS. He is survived by his wife, daughters, and family, including brother Greg Cattermole ’78, sister Theresa Daniels ’80, and nephew Kyle Cattermole ’08.
