Joe Wallace ’56 was born in New Brunswick, Canada, but grew up in the Bay Area. He graduated from Santa Clara University as a mechanical engineer. He spent two years in the Army in Germany. Most of his career was as branch manager for Johnson Controls. He met his wife, Inez, in high school and they were married 67 years. They raised five children: Joe, Dan, Martin, Mary, and Jeanette. In later years, Joe and Inez spent 20 years on the Lost Coast, off the grid in Humboldt County, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and then went to Eureka, California. He died July 25th, 2022.
