Joe Allanson ’85 delivered the commencement address to the graduating class of University of San Francisco School of Management in December 2023. Joe spoke to the graduates about the importance of bringing your true and authentic self to the workplace each and every day, and said in order to change the world, their differences combined with their Jesuit education is their destiny. Joe is the executive vice president of finance ESG (environmental, social, and governance) at Salesforce and, among other appointments, serves on the Santa Clara University Accounting Department Advisory Board.
