From activism and education to jumpstarting a soccer team, there was never a day of rest for JoAnn Kinion Davis ’64. She held leadership positions within activist organizations and created programs including “I KNOW I CAN,” a college scholarship program, and “Village to Child,” an urban community-based program at Ohio Dominican College. She and her husband Ted were co-recipients of the NAACP’s “Humanitarian Award.” JoAnn’s love for the community was matched by her love for her family. She never missed a family event. JoAnn died Jan. 22, 2022,  though her legacy continues.
