Jessica (Ballweg) Perkin ’05 is the new girls soccer coach at Aptos High School. Perkin has coached women’s soccer at the University of Virginia and the University of Nevada. She was also the director of soccer operations at Rutgers. She is currently the head coach in the Santa Cruz Breakers Club organization. She has also coached in the Olympic Development Program. As a Santa Clara Bronco, Perkin helped her team win three consecutive West Coast Conference Championships [2001, ’02, ’03] and a national championship in 2001. She was a team caption, selected twice to the NCAA All-Tournament Team, and was named the Defensive MVP of the 2002 NCAA Tournament.
