Jeffrey A. Miller ’73, MBA ’76 has been elected to SCU’s Board of Trustees. Miller has more than 35 years of high-tech experience in semiconductors, hardware, and software companies. Prior to establishing the business-consulting firm JAMM Ventures, Miller was a venture partner with Redpoint Ventures, mentoring CEOs of portfolio companies. He was previously chairman and CEO of Documentum, an enterprise document-nagement software company that became one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the country under Miller’s leadership. He spent the early years of his career at Fairchild Semiconductor and Intel, also holding senior marketing and general management executive positions at Adaptec and Cadence Design Systems. He serves or has served on the boards of Lithium, MarkLogic, McAfee, Accept Corp., Data Domain, Datameer, ServiceNow, Unicru and American Prairie Reserve. He was previously co-naging director of SCU’s Center for Science, Technology, and Society.
