Jason John ’08 received his Ph.D. from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2020 and is now working at the California Natural Resources Agency as a California Council on Science and Technology (CCST) Science & Technology Policy Fellow. John has long held an interest in marine physiology and ecology and this fellowship provides valuable experience and additional training in public policy and leadership.
