Janet Napolitano ’79 was appointed as a member of the Biden administration’s Intelligence Advisory Board. She is currently a professor of Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy and the Founder and Faculty Director of the Center for Security in Politics at UC Berkeley. Previously she served as the twentieth president of the University of California. Prior to joining the University of California, Napolitano served as Secretary of Homeland Security from 2009 to 2013. She is also a former two-term Governor of Arizona, Attorney General of Arizona, and a former U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona.
