James White MBA ’76, M.S. ’81 lived a life full of adventures spanning the world over. While Jim lived in and traveled to many places around the world, he remained a Southern boy at heart. Mobile, Alabama was his favorite. Following a family tradition, Jim was an officer in the United States Navy. During his time in the Navy Reserve, Jim went to Santa Clara, where he solidified his love for math as well as an enduring love for the Broncos. Jim endured through a brief bout of Myeloma and the deaths of his parents and eldest daughter. His faith became a guiding light for him during those trying times and his own twilight years. Through it all, he found beauty in the outdoors and loved hiking with his wife, Vivian. Jim died on Nov. 12, 2021 and is survived by family, including daughter Casey White ’14.
