James Murray M.A. ’69 began his engineering career at Illinois Bell Telephone in Chicago, where he met and married his wife, Carolyn Clough. In 1961, he accepted a position with Lenkurt Electric and moved with his family to Sunnyvale. Jim then co-founded Farinon Video and took great pride in the innovative microwave communication systems they produced. In retirement, along with perfecting his golf game, he became an expert desktop publisher, producing hundreds of newsletters for nonprofits, and co-led the walking group in his retirement community. Jim died on September 22, 2022.
