James Manlowe ’61 lived his 86 years with a spirit of independence as well as dedication to those in his orbit. Jim spent much of his career in the trucking business and dedicated many years as a respected sports official. He welcomed three sons with his wife, Carolyn Smith Manlowe, and two stepchildren. Jim died on July 18, 2025, and is survived by family including seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
