Growing up in Watsonville, James Maleta ’75 excelled in sports and was loved by all his classmates. After earning a degree at Santa Clara in business finance, Jim would find work as a property land manager for Granite Rock, and later as a stock broker for Morgan Stanley. Jim’s family was the most important part of his life; he especially adored family gatherings and doing things with his children. Jim and his wife, Katie, recently completed their third pilgrimage on Camino De Santiago, Spain. He died March 30, 2024.
