James Lippi ’65 MA ’70 loved motorcycles, the Twilight Zone, playing guitar, camping, Star Trek (the original series), and tinkering. He could often be found working on the engine of his VW van. The van sported orange hubcaps that resembled the sun, and the van itself was painted green and blue to look like the trees and the sky. When not tinkering, James taught English at Samuel Ayer High School for several years. He had two children, Kimberly and Lucien, with his former wife, Susan. James died Nov. 3, 2022.
