A lover of nature, James Kilgroe M.S. ’67 was an avid gardener, environmentalist, camper, and member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh since the early ’70. After earning a master’s in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara, James spent the majority of his career working for the Environmental Protection Agency. He published many papers concerning the environmental impact, regulations, and solutions for the United States Coal industry. James died on July 3, 2021.
