James Fauria ’74 of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. He was born and raised in San Leandro, Calif., the son of Helen and the late Marvyn Fauria. He attended Moreau High School and Santa Clara University. A mechanical engineer, he worked in nuclear power for 35 years, 23 at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. He was a dedicated husband and father, and a member of the Nativity of Our Lady parish in San Luis Obispo. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Fauria of Fayetteville; children Kaitlin, Matthew, and Jessica; mother, Helen of San Leandro; and siblings Robert and Michael Fauria of the Bay Area, and Elaine Fauria-acomanolis of New York City.
