Whether through music, literature, the law, or his warmth, James Erickson J.D. ’04 inspired those around him. From his teenage years to his artistic pursuits as a self-taught musician, poet, songwriter, and performer, Jimm’s life was a tapestry of passion and curiosity. From 2005 to 2021, he practiced as an associate attorney in several firms before joining Masoom Law Firm as a senior litigation attorney in 2022. In 2024, Jimm published his first novel, Speakeasy, and completed a second, The Center of Attention. Jimm died on Aug. 8, 2025.
