Jackson K. Hu MBA ’87 was added to IKOS System’s board of directors. He is president and CEO of SiRF Technology, Inc. and has 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including all phases of development, marketing and management. Prior to SiRF, Hu was senior vice president and general manager at S3, Inc., where he helped to grow the company from a start-up to a company with revenues of approximately $450 million. In addition to architecting and managing the development of S3’s venerable 2D GUI accelerator families, he also created an operations and quality infrastructure for very high volume production. Before S3, he held positions at Western Digital as director of graphics engineering, at Verticom as director of engineering and at Zilog as a project leader.
