Jack Gillum ’06 has been named a campaign finance and investigative reporter for the Associated Press. He will be covering the role of money in the upcoming 2012 election cycle at a time when court rulings have radically changed how outside groups can influence elections. Prior to joining AP’s Washington bureau, Gillum was an editor with USA Today and, before that, with the Arizona Daily Star. His notable work includes uncovering testing irregularities in big-city schools and the growing role of government subsidies in college sports programs.
