Jack Bates MBA ’73 had a knack for football, playing it in high school, college, and the Navy. Later his travels frequently took him back to family reunions in Utah, where he guided bicycle, river-rafting, and fly-fishing adventures for family and friends. A word of wisdom he shared with his family is that service to others is one of the main purposes in life. “Time on yourself does not bring happiness; time for others does.” Jack died Nov. 16, 2022.
