His four years at Santa Clara University set up Hugh Isola ’54 for the life he enjoyed thereafter. He served a stint in the U.S. Army, worked at Wells Fargo Bank, and then graduated from USF Law School in 1961. His legal career lasted 51 years, 34 of which were spent at Berliner Cohen in San Jose. He cherished his Santa Clara friends until his final days. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Lou; his three sons, David, Peter J.D. ’89, and Mark ’88; and four grandchildren.
